The Saturday and monday attraction at the Regent Theatre this week is "Heaven Can Wait." The picture is a and the three main players, Gene Tierney t Don Ameche and Charles Co-burn head a cast (in,cluding Spring Byington) which does credit to the plot.
The picture lias a novel introduction. The opening scene shows His Excellcncy (Laird Cregar—Remember him as The Lodger?) gi%«dian of the gates of Hades greeting Henry Van Cleve (Don Ameche) and demanding his reasons for requesting admission to the nether regions. "LASSIE COME HOME" Few have not some pet or other or have not had in the past to which they are attached. "Lassie Come Home" is the simple story of a boy and a dog and the bond between the two which distance could not break, "Lassie Come Home" starring Roddy McDowall and Las* sie, the Collie which cannot help but find a place in everyone's heart opens at the Regent on the Ist of next month.
