What no Sailors
. What liq 5 what ho, ina hearties. Well (> I'm sorry to say that, there will be no column this week. I an} leaving today (Monday) for a trip.' Yes ? I'm actually going back to sea again for a about a fortnight, so I'm afraid the column will have to m'iss this week. An old friend of mine, Barnacle Bill (yes that's right; f the one the song is about) dropped in on me the other day with a lugger (that's a boat about the size of a fishing trawler) which
he had' picked up cheap, and. asked me if I would care to go on a short cruise with him. Of course I was delighted, and pausing only long enough to pick up my kitbag and put out enough food for the pets, I stepped into the dinghy and we rowed off to the lugger. By the time you read this we will be somewhere on the ocean, although as yet I don't know where. Cheerio till next week, when I should have quite a lot to tell you. P.T.W.
