♦ LOCAL PLAYERS SELECTED CHRISTCHUBCH VISIT NEXT .MONTH In the recent Basketball tests held at Rotorua last week for the purpose of selecting players to reprer' sent the Bay of Plenty at the Dominion Contests to be held at Christchurch on August Misses; Shirr ley Cave i? Margaret-Howat and Mrs Lionel McCready -were selected. This is a distinct feather in Whakatane's cap ? and we extend our conr gratulations accordingly.
