CLOTHING WANTED

APPEAL FROM "CORSO' The Red Cross Society and the Lady Galway Guild have both received urgent appeals from ' their Headquarters and from "Corso " asking for warm clothing. The need for urgent action is '"Cor.\o" stating that: "The clothing question is very bad and everything is a fantastic price. People ask for clothing before food." This particular reference is to Greece, but I conditions are as bad elsewhere. It is expected that a shipment will be made in about xix weeks t.;me, so that prompt action is necessary. Persons having any warm clothing are asked to leave, it at the Red Cross or at Mrs Moran's Victoria Avenue. Collection can be arranged for those unable to deliver their gifts. To avoid delay it is requested that all garments be sent in clean.
