Starring in this picture arc Deanna Durbin who never fails* .to appeal to her fans, and Gene Kelly (of "Thousands Cheer" and "Cover Girl" fame). "THE FALLEN SPARROW" "The Fallen Sparrow"' is not a war picture but it is a picture which deals with the unwritten international law—that which permits espionage. John Garfield is cast in the leading role and plays opposite Maureen O'Hara. Garlield Ls cast in the part of an American returned to his native land alter spending two years in a Fascist prison. Result of liis participation in the Spanish Civil War. But although he has escaped from prison, he has not escaped from Axis agents.
