ANNUAL MEETING BRIEF PROGRAMME OF MUSIC The annual meeting of the Whacatane Citizens' Band was held in l lie Band Room last Thursday, when ; i good attendance of Band members r ind supporters were present. Pre- ] ent also were Mr Gardner Prcsi- ( lent ol' the Waihi Band and Mr J. 9 y s yne who was one of the l'oundaion members of the Band in 1915 I md who is .still an active member. c Apologising for the unavoidable t ibsence of the Band Mr V. Mr A. J. Canning s aid that this was the first annual j; neeting of the Band that Mr Suther- t and had missed for many years, j; Die wish was expressed that Mr j Sutherland's health would soon be 1 ■estored and that he would be able t 0 be present at the next annual t neeting. j At the conclusion of the meeting ' 1 short but enjoyable programme of ' nusic was rendered by the Band 1 vliile the Ladies Committee provid- c id an excellent supper. f The election of officers took place ( is under:— , 1 Patron: Mr W.
