CARTAGE OF CREAM
A LOSING PROPOSITION Reporting to last Executive meeting of the New Zealand Farmers* Union (Auckland Province) on the activities of the Transport Committee, the chairman, Captain H. M. Rushworth, mentioned that the Tauranga Company controlled by the Union had ceased the collection of cream, which was a losing proposition. Actually, he sakl the company's cartage was frequently carried out at a loss which had to be made up in some other way.
