June Medal Next Saturday ? all those not taking part in the interseetional playofT will participate in a Medal Handicap. Members will arrange own partners and make as.., early a start as possible. Interseetional Draw Senior Section*: Connell v Steel. The winner of this.match will play Butler in the semi-finals. The winner again playing Syme in the final for the Clarke Cup. Junior Section: Dawson v Campbell;, Sloane v Spring; Den ham v Wyllie; Rev. Wilson v Winstbnc. It is essential that the finalists be decided in both sections by June 30. The finals can thus be played on a day suitable to competitors and arranged by the Club Captain. Qualifying Round On July 7 the qualifying round for the Fortune and Founders Cups and. flights will be played. There will be one medal priority being decided on thq nett score. There will be. .1.6 players in each section. Play will be match on handicap. Those players eliminated will later take part in consolation flights under the same conditions. In this manner it is hoped that members will get as much match play as possible on the same lines as in a tournament. Club Captaincy Requiring only the usual procedure of being passed by a committee meeting Mr Roy Combes has intimated his willingness to take over the duties of a club captain provided a vice-captain is elected also. He will be acting, as captain as from Saturday next_ and all enquiries about matches and partners should be referred to him.. Golf Ball Raffle This much desired article was eventually drawn by Clem Suckling. Being of a very generous nature lie put it up for auction. Under the [able salesmanship of Leslie L'ittlethe little pill realised an extra los for the club. It is the committee's earnest prayer that our worthy treasurer's lucky straw continue for the good and welfare of the club. LADIES' GOLF On Saturday last the first and only qualifying round for the Allan Trophy was played. Those qualified
