Educational Grants
A further 214 ex-servicemen and women throughout the Dominion had grants for educational purposes approved by the Rehabilitation Board during the month of states the monthly statistical review of the Rehabilitation Department. Of these 171 had been service overseas and the remaining 43 were home service personnel. Forty-live, full-time bursaries were granted > 106 were allowed and books and two were given miscellaneous small grants. This brought the total number of educational grants made by the board to ex-servicemen and women to 1600. comprising 1337 returned personnel and 263 who had had home service only.
