Results of games played in Tauranga by Whakatane A on Iving s Birthday: Matamata 9 v Whakatane 15; Tauranga 2 v Whakatane 6; Te Puke 5 v Whakatane 4. Finals: Tauranga 16 v Whakatane 4. The day was very enjoyable and Whakatane girls maintained their high standard of marching in which they tied for first place with Tauranga. Mr Wilkinson officially opened the pavilion on the grounds and there was a large attendance.
