MATCHES FOR TOMORROW
The following games commencing at 10.30 a.m. will take place in Whakatane tomorrow: — High School A v Matata at Whakatane also morning match; High School'B v Matata at Whakatane. 2 p.m: Awakeri v Whakatane at Awakeri; Whakatane A v Whakatane B at Whakatane; High School B v Paroa at. Paroa; Taneatua v Poroporo at Taneatua; Edgecombe a bye. Results of games played in Tauranga by Whakatane A on Iving s Birthday: Matamata 9 v Whakatane 15; Tauranga 2 v Whakatane 6; Te Puke 5 v Whakatane 4. Finals: Tauranga 16 v Whakatane 4. The day was very enjoyable and Whakatane girls maintained their high standard of marching in which they tied for first place with Tauranga. Mr Wilkinson officially opened the pavilion on the grounds and there was a large attendance.
