ALLOCATIONS UNDER STATE SCHEME Under the system of allocating 50 per cent, of State rental houses and flats to returned .servicemen and \vomen i a further 194 in this category were placed in homes during the month of April states, the Rehabilitation Department. This brought the total number so housed to 3130. Allocations for the different districts to date, are as follows: Auckland 949 Hamilton 244 Napier' 166 New Plymouth 96 Wellington . 1045 Nelson 57 Christchurch .. 306 Dunedin 198 Invercargill 69 Totals 3130 The total amount subscribed so far equals £15 805.- This is represented by 74 subscribers and is 22 per cent of the quota.
