RESULTS FROM SATURDAY
The concurrcnt event played with the sectional matches, a Stableford Bogey was won by W. Symc with 31. Following were the scores: Syme 86 —12 74 S.B. 31; Combes 89 —1.2, 7' S.B'. 29; Wright 90—14, 76 S.B. 29; R. Butler 89—12, 75 S.B. 29; Barry 98—20, 78 S.B. 26. The sweepstake was won by R. Combes with Wright and Butler in that order. Sectional Matches A brief review of these is as follows: Senior Section I.—Co-nnell 2 wins and one to play v Carter. Section 2.—As Henderson will be unable to play his matches the match Steel v Hyland will decide. Section' 4— A tie between Syme and Milne. Sections—Looks5 —Looks like a win for Bur* stall. In the Junior Section 1, Dr Dawson has a win.'ln the next Section 2 if Campbell beats Bushett it will be a tie. "Sloane wins Section 3. Section 4 will be decided next Saturday and still leave a tie. Next week's match between Rev. Rangi and Denham will decide Section 5. Section 6 looks like Wyllie if he should be able to play his remaining two matches. In Section 7 there's a tie between Butler and Winstone. Tomorrow's Draw Sectional Matches: Connell v Carter; Steel v Hyland; Milne v Syme; Burstall v Bridger; Bushett v Campbell; Corbett v Stone; Spring v Dallas; Denham v Rev. Rangi; Wyliie v Rev. Wilson; Butler v Winstone. Bogey Handicap: The rest of Ihe club will play a Bogey Handicap and Sweepstake. Players arrquge own partners, the earliest pairing off and making a start. Re Handicaps Dr Dawson reduces from 18 to 16. Junior Buttons This was played last Sunday between Moore and Sloane holders v Spring and Denham challengers., the latter pair winning. The challenge list is now posted up in the clubhouse for further challenges from the junior members of handicaps 18 and upwards.
LADIES' GOLF DRAW FOR SATURDAY On Saturday 9th instant the Junes Medal in. conjunction with the first round of the Appleby Cup will be played. The Appleby Cup is a com-> petition played over three club days the winner being the player return-; ing the three best medal rounds. Winstone; Mrs Barry and Mrs Duncan; Mrs Mussett and Miss Kent;, Mrs Fraser and Mrs Trask; Mrs Semmens and Mrs Jarrett; Mrs McCowan and Mrs Pearse; Mrs Dewar and Mrs Suckling; Mrs Grey and Miss Righton; I Mrs Bushett and Mrs Coburn.Mrs Donaldson and Mrs Corcoran; Mrs Stone and Mrs Connell; Miss Berg and Miss King; Miss Hyland and Miss Wilson; Miss.
