FAREWELL GATHERING
MRS A. G. WADDELL The .staffs of the Public Works ? Transport and Primary Production Departments met at a morning tea held in the Monte Carlo coffee lounge recently t the occasion being to farewell Mrs A. G. Waddell who has severed her connection with the Native Department after eleven years' .service. Officers of the various departments speaking of Mrs Waddell's excellent service with the Native Department, and the help and assistance that had been given by her to other Government Departments located in Whakatanc, 'wished her happiness and prosperity in her new sphere. On behalf of the staffs of the Departments represented the guest of honour was presented with a silver sandwich tray by Mr R. West and a cheque from the staff of the Rotorua office of the Native Department. | Miss Val. Woods presented a dainty shoulder spray as a gesture from i the ladies present.
