ANNUAL MEETING At the annual meeting of the Rangitaiki Domain Board Mr O. V.. . "Marx presided. In his report on the past year's . the chairman thanked the members for their wholehearted sup- ' port and said the lack of progress was in no way due to the Board. / Negotiations had been protracted \ and correspondence voluminous and . when finality had been almost achieved, the ban on further local sub-» division had been imposed. The future of the Domain .extension was very much allied to theprogress of Edgecumbe and furtheifc negotiation and pur* chase the land now under required the sanction of the Minis--. ' ter of Land. It was hoped to have an official reply at an early date. The chairman made special reference to the good work of the secretary, Mr J. and in this he was supported by board members. Mr O. V. Marx was re-elected chairman and Mr J. Mull ins re-elected hon. secretary. The balance sheet disclosed a sub- ♦ ~ credit balance.
