Warmana Street Sealing

The .surface of the Waimana Village Street is practically ready for sealing. Final rolling and watering will put- it in shape. There has been nn unfortunate hold up in the supply of metal chips for the second coat owing to the shortage of railway trucks and it may be necessary to delay the application of the second coat until the spring. It would be advisable to complete the work as far as it is possible to go before the middle of May.—Extract from the Engineer's report to the Whakatane County Council.
