An old lady was arguing with the driver about, the cost of the taxi ride. "I tell you the price you are charging us poor people who have •been bombed out of our homes is ridiculous. Do you think I have be.cn travelling in a taxi for years for nothing?" "No," replied the driver "but I'm jolly well sure you've tried your hardest."
