THE NEXT WAR LOAN

THE 1945 Victory War Loan of £25,000,000 will open next m.onth. The rate of interest will be the same as on previous occasions, namely 3 per cent, and 2-£ per cent, on the two issues of stock, which will mature on April 15,. 1956-59, and April 15, 1950-51, respectively. In addition, national savings will constitute part of the war loan so that investors, whether in bonds or national savings accounts, can play their part in this important undertaking equally with those who can invest more substantial amounts in stock. There is every reason to anticipate that with the amount of surplus money still in circulation the new loan. will be %fully subscribed within the time allocated.
