CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS

Last week-end the 'Executive Fours' for the Eastern Zone of the Bay of Plenty Bowling Association took place, on the Whakatane greens. This annual event is a novel tournament in which the executives of all affiliated clubs enter a team for a friendly contest. The winners of the finals in the Eastern and Western zones finally meet to decide the bowiing honours. In conjunction with the tourney the 'singles' to decide the Champion of Champions is also another feature which creates no little interest.
