Mrs' Nelson Spratt/ of Te Puke, .spent the Easter holidays with her parents, Mr and Mrs Cranswick of Nukuhou North.
Messrs J. A. Guiness of Tauranga and W. S. Henderson, leave tonight for Wellington where they will attend the Annual Conference of Delegates, to the New Zealand Rugby Union. Mr Henderson will also be present at the referees' conference. At its meeting last Thursday the Whakatane Hospital Board appointed Dr. H. recently returned from overseas after 3 x /i years experience with the armed forces, to tlie position of resident medical officer to the local hospital subject to Ministerial consent.
Mr and Mrs A. L. Robb ? ofWWarn r ganui ? Mr Robb being the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of N.Z.1.0.0.F-, were guests of Mr and Mrs C. P. Wylde j Waimana ) recently. Mrs Johnson. Grey Lynn Mrs Mitchell, Newmarket and Mrs Relph ( of Ellerslie > Auckland were also guests.
