NATIONAL PARTY
WAIMANA BRANCH MEETING An enthusiastic meeting of . the Waimana branch of the New Zealand National Party was held in the Waimana Hall recently, Mr J. L. Burnett presiding over a good attendance of members. Mr F. J. Shorty electorate chairman i gave an interesting address on the activities of the party. Mi W. Sullivan, M.P. ( addressed the meeting on matters of current political interest. At the conclusion the speaker was accorded a hearty vote of which was shown by acclamation. Tt being tlie annual meeting also, a National Party Committee was formed.
