Ladies' Rest Roam

At the Borough Council meeting reference was made to the proposal to establish a ladies' rest room and convenience at the Maori shelter at the Rock. The Chairman reported that the site had been inspected by members, of the committee in company with the Health Inspector. Tlie area was limited and drainage disposal might involve the extension of the drain into the river channel. It was decided that th e Fore-man-Engineer be instructed to prepare a plan of the proposal which will be further considered at the next meeting.
