MRS AND MISS HEALY

Members of the Croquet Club and friends gathered at Mrs J. Cree'ke's The last Wednesday afternoon to bid farewell to Mrs and Miss Hcaly t - two members and staunch supporters of the Whakatane Croquet Club. A very enjoyable afternoon was spent playing Flag' 500 ) the winners being Mesdames 800n } Sutherland and Burgess with the consola--tion prizes going to Mesdames Shaw, Woolliams, King and Wigmore. After a dainty afternoon tea had been served .Mrs Creeke President I of the called on Mrs' Healy to accept a pyrex dish and Misis Healy a glove sachet as small tokens of remembrance from the members and wished them many years of health and happiness in their new home. Mrs Healy replied on behalf Miss Healy and herself. Mrs Baxter briefly Mr and Mrs Creeke for the very pleasant afternoon.
