NGATIAWA GYMKHANA TO-MORROW

TO-MORROW'S Gymkhana which takes place in the Whakatane Domain constitutes the only one of its kind promoted by an all-round committee of Maori residents in this district. Last year's venture proved what could be done and the committee this year has been encouraged, to offer a wider variety of events and increased prize-money. All who intend going can rest assured of a first-class programme of ring, athletic and chopping events. Maoris in the past have been the liberal patrons to all Pakeha gatherings. Now is the opportunity for the Pakeha community to repay that courtesy, by lending to-morrow's event all the support it so richly deserves.
