GOLF

NEW SEASON PROSPECTS

With the approach of the new season it is interesting to learn that the preparation of the local golf course is well in hand. The season: has been favourable to the fairways and greens and never before have they been so good at this time of the year. The whole of the rough has been cut and burned with the result that there should be no loss of balls this season. As regards the supply of balls the Club still has some repaints for rationing to piembers. It has been decided to open the season on Saturday, April 7, when, the Club will be pleased to welcome any visitors*
