PERSONAL
The formal appointment of Mr A. C. King t) to the position of Borough Assessor was made at last Monday's meeting of the Borough Council. Messrs A. F. Blackburn (Chief Supervisor) ? J. Dicken (Senior Supervisor) and Harley Evans (Farm Inspector) of the Head Office staff of the Native Department left Whakatane yesterday for the East Coast after completing Departmental business in this area.
