Local Government Investigation

Arrangements have been, completed for the special parliamentary committee set up to investigate local government problems to visit Whakatane on Tuesday March 20 where a special session will take place. This decision has been reached fol_ loAving representations by Mr W. Sullivan M.P, who urged that, the meeting at Rotorua was not adequate enough to allow representatives from the Eastern Bay to lay their case before the committee.
