EDPGECUMBE DANCE
INDOOR SPORTS CLUB
A most enjoyable dance was held in Bell's Edgecumbe j on Tuesr day February 20 i} in aid of the Bdgecumbe Indoor Sports Club. The Premier Orchestra supplied the music ? while. Mr Jack H|skini very capably filled the position of M.G. keeping the dance in full swing throughout the evening. Mr T. Bell kindly obliged by playing an. extra. Two? competitions were drawn during the evening, these being, 1 pair of towels, won by Mrs, R. J. Krskine of Manawalie and a wallet by J. C. Black.
A Monte Carlo was won by Mr Alex Black and Mrs Burgess and the lucky pair in the Novelty Gay Gordons were Miss Gwen Cooper and Mr G. Baldock. Another novelty during the evening was the Spot Waltz which was won by Miss Dorothy Mexted and Mr J. Law.
