UNSPLINTERABLE
Glass which can be cut with a sharp knife and wiil not break, but merely tears lilce a piece of cloth seems too good to be true; Juit it has made its appearance, from a London (irm in Glasshouse Street •9 and is of particular interest at this time, for the blast from a bomb seems merely to dislodge the glass from the window-frame in one whole piece. ft does not splinter or crack like ordinary glass. Although not completely transparent, it is. perfectly translucent and gives a nice t diffused light, it is made of woven glass fibres impregnated with a synthetic resin.
