Drinking and Driving The lolly of drinking and driving at the same time has surely been amply evidenced by the number of accidents that have occurred in the past through this practice, but there are still motorists on the road who apparently are quite content to remain a danger to themselves and particularly to others. One such case was seen recently on the to Ohope at the top of Hillerest when a car swept round a corner using more, than its fair share of road the driver steering with one hand on the wheel and the other out the window clutching a freshly opened bottle of beer. Persons who insist on offending in this manner are a menace to every user of. the road.
