Combating Diphtheria Steady progress in diphtheria immunisation by the School Medical Service is commented on in the latest issue of the Year Book. In 1942 no fewer than 11781 children took the protective course, comprising 52.77 of pre-school 5254 under seven years of age ? and 1270 of seven, years or over.
