The ceremony w r as performed y the Rev. H. G. and Mr H. Apthorp presided at the orgn. During the signing of the roister a solo was rendered by Mrs H. McKelvie, Arapoliue Dargaille? aunt of. the bride. The bride who entered the church *ith her father, wore a picture, "ock of white organdie trimmed ith rows of rucked organdie. Her eil of embroidered tulle was liekl i place with a top-not. of flowers Latching the sheaf of white Christian lillies carried by the bride. The bride was attended by Mrs J. I. Rankin (Matron of Honour) liss. Mona McKelvie (Otahuhu) cou' pi of the bride, and Miss Joyce aker (Te Aroha). They wore frocks F regal blue crepe with top-nots Delphiniums relieved with sweet pas. In attendance as flower girls tre Miss. Nola Kerr (Tauranga) Id. Miss Gay Collins (Waharoa). key were dressed alike in frocks of hite Robia and carried horse-shoe I the same flowers as the bridesaids. [The best man was Mr Dick Hunt Idgecumbe) brother of tjie- bridepom. Groomsmen were Mr Ken Ris (Edgecumbe) and Mr Mick laley (Huntly) having all returnI from service overseas. R.t the reception held at. the ptreway the mother of I bride received her guests wearI an off-white floral patterned Ick with matching off white coat ? 111 a shoulder spray of red carnafcs. She was assisted by the bridelom's sister, Mrs S. Kerr (TauIga) wgaring a frock of black! |p shoulder spray, yie bride travelled wearing a grey Bed tailored costume with black pssoriea.
