A Narrow Escape

The Rangitaiki Dairy Company's engineer, Mr A. R. had a narrow escape from serious injury last Wednesday. A serious blowout on one of. the subsidiary switchboards was being investigated by him when he apparently contacted a live wire and received a severe shock. The pliers he was using were deeply scored by the heat and his right hand badly burned. However after treatment in the Whakatane hospital he was able to return home and is now back on the job.
