WAIMANA ACCIDENT

While negotiating the corner below Mr A. Eagle's, residence on Eagle's; Hill. Waimana, last Thursday afternoon, a truck driven by Mr Wylde builder of Opotiki, and proceeding towards Opotiki, and a car going to Hamilton, collided. The cause of the accident was apparently due to the punctured tyre of the car, which hit the truck heavily on the driver's side. Both vehicles were extensively damaged, being removed by the breakdown truck. The occupants of the truck received slight abrasions bruises and shock, the three occupants of the car suffered a nasty shaking. ]
