COOPERATIVE FARMING A scheme for co-operative farm- f ing under which the profits are shared with employees, was advocat- ; ed at the monthly meeting of the Temuka Farmers' Union by Mr J. 4 Dempsey, president of the South - , Canterbury executive of the. Farm- ' er;s' Union as an aid to rehabilita-r > tion of soldiers on the land and to elderly farmers faced with the prob- - : lem of maintaining production with- | out efficient labour. At the con:-, j elusion of the. address members said they were heartily in agreement with the scheme.
