Tomorrow's clothes drive in the interests of the destitute people of Greece ( will commence shortly after 9.30 p.m. The task of collecting parcels and 1 bundles of clothing ha9i been undertaken. by the local Boy whilst the sorting and despatching will be the responsibility of the Girl Guide Committee under the direction of the local branch of the Red' Cross Society. Residents are asked to co-operate by having their unwanted garments sorted out. in readiness for the collcctors_ who will be visiting i as far as possible all houses in the Bor-< ough. Clothes of a reasonably good quality are required urgently. From reports it. is shown that most of the refugees who are in a dire state, of arc suffering from malnutrition and arc only clothed in rags. Warm wearable clothing is therefore needed, net merely to ward off the rigours of climate but also to protect weakened bodies. The collecting base, will be the V.A.D. rooms in Commerce. in Shaplcy's buildings. All Scouts are required to muster at this point witli their bicycles and trollies at 9.30. Thej' will be, directed from there to whatever part of the Borough has been allocated them. Canvassing and collecting will be carried out by boys in groups of two and three and it is hoped to have the whole of the Borough covered before noon. At Ohope, the Patrol of the Scottish section, will collect from all homes. Members, will ter at 9.30 outside the Captain's Cabin and await further instructions.
