PLUNKET SOCIETY
WORK FOR THE MONTH The monthly meeting of the Whakatane branch of the Plunkct. Society was< held on Monday evening, November I'\. Those present were: Mrs Cairns (in the chair), and Mesdames Morpeth, King a Dainton? Zinsli Fi.slier, Morgan and Caisley (secretary). Apologies were received from Mesdames Shapley, Patterson, Ilunciman and KingsleySmith. Nurse Armstrong's, report for October was. read and confirmed. As from December 1 the Nurse will visit the Hangilaiki Branch on Monday in place of Tuesday as at present. With regard to the recent Plunkct Concert, which was held recently, the committee expressed their gratitude to the various Institutes for their help in presenting the performance which proved to be so beneficial to the Society..
