The Goat Nuisance

A twenty-mile stretch of coastline between Whangaroa and Mangonui harbours where the forest is regenerating, has been overrun with wild goats, says a correspondent of the Forest and Bird Protection Society. As many as fifty goats have been seen in one and the hundreds present arc rapidly destroying every vestige, of young growth.
