EDGECUMBE ANGLICANS POPULAR HOSE COMPETITION The Annual Bazaar promoted by the Anglican Ladies' Guild at Edgecumhe last Saturday proved to be an outstanding success and received the. fullest sc up port from the district. The large crowd patronised the stalls ♦ early and late resulting in a welcome addition to the church funds. A new venture was the flower competition which brought nianj' entries. The following were prize winners:— Champion Rose: Mrs S. W. Burstall. Six Best Roses: Shirley McDonald 1; Mrs Burs tall 2. Vase of Flowers for Effect: Margaret Gow 1; Mrs J. C. J. Wilson (Vicarage) 2. The 'thanks of the committee are extended to all those who helped the bazaar in any way.
