DIAMOND INTERESTS TO BE CENTRED IN LONDON AFTER WAR
Britain is to be the centre of the world's diamond industry after the war reports the London "Daily Sketch." During the war the prominent part already played by London diamond merchants in this industry has been reinforced by the transfer of Dutch diamond interests to Britain. So satisfactory has this new arrangement proved that Dutch merchants and cutters have decided to remain in London. One important factor influencing their decision is London's unique position as the natural link between Europe and the new world } a position which serves the best interests of the diamond industry's world-wide trade.
