Restrictions Lifted All restrictions on the sale and use, of char for gas producer outfits on motor vehicles have been lifted according to a statement made by the Oil Fuel Controller. It will not now be necessary for motor.'.sis using char to have a license. M'iny motorists have, become expert in the use of char and there are hundreds of cars equipped with burners, but in the past owners were permitted only a limited quantity of fuel. Now they can' "somck up'' ad lib. Applications are now being received at the office of the Oil .Fuel Controller for petrol licenses for launches. The quantity permitted this year las been cut down by one-half comoared with last summer.
