War Prisoner Mail
Referring to letters and parcels for prisoners ci: war in Germany which senders intend forwarding to the care of the High Commissioner for New Zealand in London to be held pending the release of the ad-: dresses the. the Hon. P. G. Webb, emphasised the importance of such correspondence bearing a clear indication to the effect that it' is to be so held. The Minister suggested, as- a suitable enfacement, the words "P.O.W. — to be held pending release." Mr Webb stated that the prisoner's camp address need not be shown, in such cases. It was desirable, however, that the regimental number of the addressee should lie included.
