Price of Butter
"P would say that the local price of butter will remain as at present incorporated in the. price index," said tlie Minister of Marketing (the Hon. B. Roberts) in the House of Representatives, when replying to Opposition members who desired to know whether the Government con-, templated increasing the local price. He explained that the dairy farmer's income was based on the New Zealand cost and he was of the •9. view that the Dominion price level that farmers' organisations had subscribed to in the stabilisation policy should be retained.
