Word has been received by Mrs Hills of Whakatane that he,r son ? F/O. D. G. T. Hills f has been promoted to Fit. Lieut... as from June 5. He is al present stationed in England.
Miss Myrtle formerly of Whakatane, who 'is well known at the local school is now doing successful radio work in Palmerston North from 2ZA, and is known as "Myrtle the Folk Tale Lady."
