A three year old child in Lhe Cambridge district, Avhile watching her dairyman father cleaning the shed utensils with a Avcak solution of caustfe soda inadvertently sat in a shallow tin of the preparation. She was. quickly sluiced Avith plenty of water soon being little the worse for her experience. Prompt action in applying the water probably .saved the child from serious consequences.
