The following is the, draw of the first round for the Bay of Plenty championships, to be held to-mor-row in the Winter' Show Buildings j commencing at 2 jj.m:—■ Ladies' Championship R.N.Z.A.F. Rotorua v Whakatane No. 1. Tauranga v Wlialtatane No. 2. Ngongotaha a bye. Men's Championship A.T.C. No. 2 v Whakatane No. 1. A.T.C. Rotorua v R.N.Z.A.F. Rotorua. Whakatane No. 2 v Tauranga. A.T.C. No. 1 v A.T.C. No. 3. The above preliminary matches will be played in the afternoon. the semi-finals and finals being held at night from 7 p.m. onwards. As big crowds are expected to both seating accommodation will be. provided. No lull between games will be allowed and spectators can look forward to a practically continuous series of exciting matchesAll of the visiting teams are of. a high standard and have been training seriously, so that the local entrants will need to turn on exceptional form to win the day. It is expected that this tournament will be the forerunner of many enjoyable competitions in the, futures
