SEPTEMBER MEETING
The monthly meeting of the above Society was held in the Plunket rooms on Monday,, September 11. Present: Mesdames Cairns (chair) , King, R. Morpeth, D. Pat«rson P. Sisam • Runciman C. <y -r ' Timbs, Shapley, Spring } Caisley (secretary). Apologies wpre received from Mrs Fisher and Mrs Morgan.
The inward correspondence receiv ed included a request from the Nurse stating she at present only had one Saturday in the month free, which was hardly sufficient considering the district she, covered. It was decided to have the Plunket Rooms open on Saturday mornings on the second and fourth Saturdays only. Will mothers please make a note of the alteration.
A cheque Avas received from the Borough Council for £20, and also from the County Council for £2 2s for' which the Society is indeed thankful.
Inquiries are to be made. from headquarters re a travelling cot. The usual vote of thanks closed the meeting.
