COMMUNISM AND RELIGION

Sir, —Your correspondent NonCommunist avoids the issue in his reply to my letter—this is the statement that is definite and final. "Communism certainly rejects the supernatural aspects of Christianity." Now Sir to be a Christian one must believe in the Divine Birth, the Death and Resurrection of the Christ and that He is the son of God the supernatural is the very life of Christianity. A«-the protestations of the Communist of their anxiety to collaborate, with all sections of the community seem a bit extravagant because if that is so why be a communist. For the education of Non-Communist and all others interested in Communism I would like to refer them to the latest journal issued on behalf of the Government of. the U.S.S.R. signed by eleven of the leading economists in Russia and to> be a text, book in their schools, it completely repudiates Communism and holds that capi* talism is a progressive system. The new doctrines are admitted as statement not Marxist or Feminist, capital accumulation wage, differentials and profits are made legitimate. The Marx Birth "Capital" is thrown out. Now you Communist theorists where to. I would suggest that we all go together to Church on September 3 in answer to the King's request. Yours etc, BRITISHER.
