HOSPITAL MEALS
Sir —Please let me say a few words re hospital meals (j etc. I have been a patient there and so have my husband and children at different periods. We have never had ion to complain of any deficiency in meals or of any trails of silver beet. Meals were good and in act quite varied and enjoyable. The Nurses f Sisters Matron Doctor and Staff ' ' • were very good and are doing a wonderful job considering the over, crowdedness at' most times. One always must remember we are in hospital and not expect hotel attention but accept the foocl they know is good for us and thereby help those who are trying to help us back to health. I have had silver beet in there! What is wrong with 'silvfc* beet? I thought it was good for It definitely does not do anyone any> harm and must be good for one's health or the hospital wouldn't give it to us. Let us be. fair to the so-called "Stalwarts of Silver Beet' Alley,* without whom j where, would we be; they to whom we are indebted for past and present attentions \vhich we all enjoy 4 grumblers and gratefu? alike. \ Yours etc., Kutarcre. "APPRECIATION - \
