CUP FINALS Fortune Cup: Syme v Ste,el the match taking place on day mutually suitable to the players. Founders Cup: Rangi (9) v Patience (24). Reynolds Cup: Sloane (20) v Grey (24). Qualifying Round The draw for the first medal qualifying rounds for the Senior, Intermediate; and Junior Championships will be as follows:— Those players arriving before 1 p.m. wijll go off in pairs )thu)s(— Campbell v Burstall;. Powdrell V Syme; Symmans v Denham; Rangi v Patience. Those players arriving after 1 p.m. will be drawn in threesomes as follows: Cradwick, Butler and Luxton; Spence, Hyland and Carter; Connell Henderson and A. Morpeth; SuckMilne and R. Morpeth; Barry Anderson and Littlejohn; Bridger Wright and Dawson; Moore, Sloane and Cantrell; Bushett, King and Armstrong; Corbett, ' Wyllie and Stone; Dallas and Spring; Cockerell, Winstone and Wilson; Wills and Harland; Bullot Stewart, and R. Butler. Players qualify for the respective championships on gross score. The best two of three rounds will be taken into consideration. Captain's Trophies These trophies will be awarded to i the player returning the best gross score lor 2 rounds and the best, nett score for 2 rounds also. Reminders | No practise on or on to any greens [on the day of the competition. In bunkers, do not ground club ? or smoothen the sand with it before playing the shot. An infringement would cost 2 strokes. In bunkers should your ball rest in a footmark, on no account must, you touch it or lift it to smoother the mark and thus improve your lie under penalty of disqualification. In searching for ball lost in grass should you inadvertantly tread on your own ball during the search, penalty is one stroke. If you deem your ball as unplayable? return to the tee and play your third. If played from the fairway go back and play adding 2 strokes. Similarly with a lost ball. Remember only 5 minutes search is permitted. Never drop a ball and play it from the place you had lost it. Penalty is disqualification. Always go back to where the last, stroke was played from.
