Fortune Cuo: Spence beat Hyland. Founders Cup: Luxton beat Bushett. Consolation Flight ll 1 : Symmans beat A. Morpeth v Reynolds Cup Semi-final: Gray beat Wills. Best. Ball Bogey: Council and King 6 up; Cradwick and Dawson 5. up; Syme and Butler 3 up; Denham a.nd Powdrell 2 up; Wright and Combes 2 up; Sloane and Moore 1 up. Championships The handicap boundaries of the different grades have been altered and increased by 2 as to bring more players into the intermediate section. The senior championship handicaps will now be .1-14 mclur sive. The intermediate —15i to 20 inclusive and the juniors being 21 upwards. Placing Rule As from next Saturday the placing local rule will be abolished for those in the Senior Championship. The rule, however will still be ob- * .9 served by p'layers in the lower divisions until further notice. This course has been decided upon in order to bring the Senior Championship up to the playing standard required for such important major events.
